Alabama Parents Furious Over Sexualized Children Shows
There are times when I am left speechless, they don’t happen often, but this truly left me speechless. Television shows for children are now available 24/7, unlike the Saturday morning cartoons many adults grew up on.
You have shows that do have some adult humor, which is okay. I do enjoy an occasional SpongeBob episode. Yet, a show geared at toddlers should not make you think of 50 Shades of Gray.
What is the first thing you think of when you hear Teletubbies? After you watch the video it will not be the same.
It should never be something inappropriate. Parents don’t expect to see something that would make any adult blush on a television show geared toward an audience of children. Okay, there are many comments in regards to this TikTok video saying that the adults are sexualizing this, but I’m sorry, how else do you take this?
I can’t see how this is appropriate for any child! I mean how else do you take this? No matter which way you look at it, there is no way to explain what I saw. This is something a child should not see!
I wish I didn’t see it! Tinky-Winky, in my opinion, has truly crossed a line. Yes, I had to google the characters’ names. Maybe the Teletubbies are not as wholesome as we think…
Parents teach their children about safety and stranger danger, how do you explain to your child that what they saw is wrong? These shows are geared to teach children. I still remember the conjunction junction song, some of you are now looking that up.
What did this scene teach any child? Was this appropriate for a child to see? What do you think?
