Alabama Home To Three Of The Fattest Cities In US
Here we go again.

America is home to the most overweight folks in the world. That stat has been out there for many years.
Now, we have the 2025 list of the most obese cities in America. The annual study comes from Wallethub.
Alabama places some cities on this year's list of the biggest.
Some studies say that nearly half of Americans are overweight. They range from 40 to 49 percent.
Most experts claim that the medical costs are the real issue with obesity in the USA.
Let's look at some of the most obese cities in this country.
Coming in at #10....BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA
#9: Fayetteville, Arkansas
#8: Lafayette, Louisiana
#7: Augusta, Georgia
#6 Shreveport, Louisiana
#5 Knoxville, Tennessee
#4 MOBILE, ALABAMA
#3 Jackson, Mississippi
#2 Little Rock, Arkansas
#1 McAllen, Texas
Another Alabama city ranks at #32, and that city is Huntsville.
Huntsville, with all the tech and space jobs, would be a pretty healthy city, one would think.
However, that's not the case, according to the folks that track this sort of thing.
What is the reason for all of this?
Who knows.
I can't imagine that it is a good thing to see so many fast-food places in our towns.
As busy as we all get, the easiest thing is to go through that drive thru.
Healthy food options are not always easy for many of us in Alabama to locate.
