
Enrollment Boom Hits This Alabama University in 2025
The College school year is upon us, and millions of students across the country are moving into dorms and apartments, gearing up for a semester of learning both in and out of the classroom.
In the spring of 2025, it seems like more students are enrolling in college than what's been reported in recent history.
According to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, the total postsecondary enrollment was up 3.2 percent in the spring of 2025, compared to the spring of 2024.
Although this is still below pre-pandemic levels, it is a win so far for institutions across the nation. Especially for this specific Alabama institution. They're breaking records with their recent enrollment numbers.

Alabama A&M University has reported its largest freshman class in recent history this fall.
According to Yahoo News, Alabama A&M has 2,157 first-time freshmen for fall 2025. The outstanding statistic with those numbers are that 42% of those freshmen are male students.
Over the years, there have been multiple articles published detailing the number of males enrolled in college. According to the Postsecondary National Policy Institute, men of color made up 16.3% of all postsecondary enrollment in 2022.
According to Yahoo News, since the mid-1990s, women have consistently surpassed men in college enrollment nationwide, with the difference being significantly greater among Black students.
