
West Alabama Man Finds Success In Hollywood
At one time, lots of kids dreamed of making it to Hollywood one day.
Of course, very rarely did a local make it out to Los Angeles and find success as a working actor.
This is the story of one such young person who lived the dream and found success.
A quick look at his film/television credits shows a total of 79 projects on his resume in Hollywood.
That's quite a few projects and evidence of his success in the entertainment industry.
There's other exciting news to pass along to you.
This weekend, he will return to West Alabama for an actual Hollywood premiere.
His name is Linc Hand, and he was born and raised in West Alabama, not far from Jasper, Alabama.
Hand has starred in films next to Harrison Ford, Daniel Radcliffe, and Oscar-winning Toni Collette. Linc has also been a part of the hit CBS show, NCIS: Hawaii.
Linc was raised around "show business," as they say, acting in television commercials at the age of six.

His mother, Edie Hand, was an actress and starred on "As The World Turns" back when soaps were a big deal on television.
His return to Alabama this weekend will be to show the newest film project in his successful career, "Hollywood Grit".
The movie opens on August 22nd in theatres, and the premiere on Saturday will feature Linc and the cast on the red carpet at 6:15 pm.
The film will be shown at the AMC Summit 16 located on Summit Boulevard in Birmingham.
In addition to screening the film, the cast will answer questions after its conclusion.
