Despite a slower start than usual, Alabama's 2023 recruiting class is beginning to stack up. The Crimson Tide picked up its sixth commitment on Sunday, landing three-star athlete Brayson Hubbard out of Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Hubbard is the 77th ranked player at his position in the country and the ninth overall in his state. The 6-foot-2, 190lb. athlete announced his decision with a Twitter post.

Andrew Bone of BamaInsider said Hubbard received his offer after attending a camp this summer and running a 4.50 40-yard dash.

The Pascagoula native joins the five other members of Alabama's 2023 class, Jahlil Hurley, Eli Holstein, Wilkin Formby, Elliot Washington and Yhonzae Pierre, which currently ranks just 34th in the country, according to 247Sports.

Hubbard hails from Ocean Springs High School in Mississippi and plays both quarterback and corner for his team. He led the Greyhounds to an 11-1 record in 2021, playing on both sides of the ball, but unfortunately lost in the second round of the playoffs.

Per, the junior threw for 1,974 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2021, nearly doubling his numbers from the year prior.
