Jamarion Miller signed his letter of intent to join the Alabama Crimson Tide today. December 15 is the first day that high school seniors can officially sign with their new college programs. Miller is a 4-star athlete out of Tyler Legacy High School in Tyler, Texas. He is ranked the 86th overall recruit in the nation and the No. 16 overall recruit in the state of Texas according to 247sports.

Miller played both sides of the ball in high school, spending time at running back and defensive back. Standing at 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds he will likely end up playing running back for the Crimson Tide. Miller committed to Texas and Steve Sarkisian in June of 2021 but flipped his commitment to Alabama in November of 2021.

As a senior at Tyler Legacy High School, Miller rushed the ball for 1,409 yards and 13 touchdowns. Miller caught the ball for 380 yards and 6 touchdowns. Miller became the all-time leading rusher in Tyler Legacy High School history this past season.

Miller was recruited to Alabama by running backs coach Robert Gillespie and cornerbacks coach Jay Valai. Catch the tenacious running back in Crimson and White next fall.

Alabama Tight Ends and Defensive Backs at Fall Practice

Alabama held its fall practice on Thursday. Tight ends and defensive backs practiced hard yesterday as the season opener approaches. Alabama will face Miami in Atlanta for the season opener on Sept. 4.
