It's a big weekend in Gordo...Mule Day/Chickenfest, sponsored annually by the Gordo Area Chamber of Commerce, parades and charity 5k and 1-mile fun run to benefit Libby Hankins, a 22-year-old Gordo native who recently underwent a double lung transplant.  Libby is LOVED by her town of about 1,700 and this weekend has been dedicated to her.  Libby has lived with cystic fibrosis since the age of 2, and she underwent the lifesaving transplant operation in April.  This year in Gordo it's all about Libby and 953 the Bear is LIVE all weekend from the 2016 Gordo Mule Day & Chickenfest.  Here's the weekend schedule....

FRIDAY
Carnival: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
