10 Songs to Honor Those Who Gave All This Memorial Day
To some, Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer but the real reason for the holiday is to remember the people who died while serving in our country's armed forces.
Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day and started after the Civil War in 1868, when a group of Union veterans established it as a time for the nation to decorate the graves of the war dead with flowers.
