Mental health is a growing concern not only in America but in the state of Alabama. With June being Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, men in Alabama should be finding ways to really look after their mental health.

There is an alarming statistic concerning mental health in the state of Alabama. According to Benefit News, the state of Alabama is the worst state in the country for mental health care.

The state has the least affordable mental health treatment and limited access to mental health care.

With statistics like these, I find it necessary to do my due diligence to check in on my fellow men, especially in the morning. Why not start your day by checking on your male friends?

Instead of joining the current TikTok trend of telling my male friends goodnight, I figured I'd call my friends and tell them good morning.

The results were as hilarious as I figured they'd be!

Weekday mornings, I host The Big Dawg DreDay Show In The Morning on the radio with my co-host, Comedian LP. We decided to call our friends on the radio to tell them good morning.

"What's good, brother?" my friend Earl responds when I pick up the phone. This was possibly the calmest he'd be for the remainder of the call.

I responded, "You're the first person I thought about this morning. I just want to tell you good morning."

Earl laughed immediately and questioned why I was even calling him.

The call became far more colorful and hilarious near the end. You have to check out the full call below.

Seriously, with June being Men's Mental Health Month, make sure you check on a man in your life that you're friends with, related to, work with, or even in a relationship with. You never know what they may need until you ask.
