According to a press release from West AlabamaWorks, full-time and part-time positions will be available from several area restaurants and hospitality venues.

“With football venues projected to operate at full capacity and the holiday season just around the corner, local hotels and restaurants are in desperate need of job applicants to fill open positions,” Donny Jones, Chief Operating Officer at The Chamber and Executive Director at West AlabamaWorks, said in the release. “The hospitality and tourism industries are the lifeblood of our local communities. There are incredible opportunities for those seeking jobs in this field right here in West Alabama.”

Signing up for the virtual event is easy: create a profile in less than five minutes on WestAlabamaJobs.com. West AlabamaWorks representatives are monitoring responses daily and will reach out to job seekers within 24 hours of receiving an application.

Although COVID-19 is still a clear and imminent concern for the West Alabama area, local business owners are eager to have as normal of a football season as possible to make up for the year-and-a-half that they lost.
