Due to the forecasted dangerous heat, the National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Heat Advisory, effective Tuesday, July 29, at 9 p.m. and lasting until Wednesday, July 30, at 9 p.m.

Extreme heat and high humidity significantly increase the risk of heat-related illnesses. Prolonged exposure to these conditions can lead to serious health complications, including heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
