Threats

“Some of these storms could produce isolated damaging winds and large hail,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said, “Instability values will be very limited, and the best dynamic support will be to the north. But, a few storms could produce some hail and strong gusty winds. The tornado risk is very low, but not zero.”

We will continue to monitor this weather system for any new developments.
