We Were at Shelton State to Welcome Students Back to Class

The first day back to school is always filled with new experiences, new notebooks, pens and new faces. Students at Shelton State experienced that early this morning.

When I arrived just a little before 8 am the atrium at Shelton State was quiet for the most part. The disruption was minimal until I got everything set up at my table, then the first wave of students came through the door. All eager, some tired but nonetheless ready for the first day of a new semester in their college career.

Our reason for being on campus today was to welcome them back and offer them a few cool things to make the school year better. Our friends at Buffalo Rock gave us Pepsi for an entire semester to register students for and we threw in a second registration box giving away tickets to see Alabama at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on October 9th!
