University of Alabama Student Missing Since Saturday Night; Search Now Underway

A search is now underway to find a University of Alabama student who has not been seen since late Saturday night.  al.com reports the Tuscaloosa Police Department has officially began an investigation into the disappearance of Zach Koch.

Koch was last seen late Saturday night/early Sunday morning in a gray Mustang. Friends have been unable to reach Koch via cellphone, believing his phone battery to be dead. Friends also attempted to find Koch at his home and at several local jails and hospitals; however, he has still not been found.

A public Facebook post (see below) urges people in Tuscaloosa and West Alabama to help find Koch.
