Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra and UA’s Huxford Symphony unite for a concert
The Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra and The University of Alabama School of Music’s Symphony Orchestra will join forces for DANZON, a side-by-side concert celebrating mentorship, musical excellence, and the next generation of professional musicians.

The performance will take place on Monday, February 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Moody Concert Hall on the University of Alabama campus.
This collaboration brings UA student musicians onto the stage alongside their professors, including many of the region's leading professional players, creating a rare performance experience where training and artistry meet.
You are invited to arrive early for Cheers n Chat, a pre-concert gathering designed to set the tone for an unforgettable night and raise money for TSO‘s music education programs.
UA’s Latin Tide ensemble will perform to get the crowd warmed up and ready to dance before the main event begins.
Tickets are available at www.tsoonline.org. Students always attend for free.
