Jones, a senior this past season, had a career year with the Tide, averaging 11.2 points, 3.3 assists, and 6.6 rebounds per game. Petty, also a senior last season, had a stellar year as well. He averaged 12.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. He had record breaking accomplishments in his last season with the Tide: 16th highest career points at 1,539; eighth highest career games at 131, career three’s made (311) and attempted (814). Nationally, he ranked 17th in three’s attempted, 22nd in three’s made, and 24th in total minutes played. Petty was a question mark in last years NBA draft, could’ve gone either way, but decided to stay at UA for his final season.

Some notable players signed with Priority Sports include: Gordon Hayward, Bradley Beal, Kyle Lowry and Birmingham native, former NBA player DeMarre Carroll.

According to their website, “In the past five drafts alone, Priority Sports has represented four lottery picks, 15 first round picks, and 30 players who have received guaranteed contracts in their rookie seasons.”

In Bleacher Report’s 2021 Mock NBA draft, Jones is projected to go at 44 and Petty is not mocked to be drafted.
