You could be a part of history and help Tuscaloosa's Black Warrior Brewing Company (BWBC) raise money to build their own bottling line.

Using the fundraising website IndieGogo, BWBC are offering incentives to supporters in exchange for monetary help to fund the bottling of three of their flagship brews: Lock 17 IPA, Apricot Wheat and Broad Street Brown.

Thanks to loyal support so far, these Tuscaloosa brewers have beer on tap all across the state of Alabama but feel it's time to expand. Bottling their beer will allow BWBC to reach more people in more places.

Their intentions are not to buy a new bottler, but to buy everything to make one from scratch. Brewmaster Eric Hull said,

We're actually going a step further and being engineer minded, we're building our own, basically from the ground up.

Their fundraising goal is set at $20,000 and money raised will go to cover,

  • Components
  • Purchase of an automatic labeler
  • Installation costs (plumbing, electrical, etc)
  • Graphic Design for labels, 6-pack carriers, etc
  • Initial order of empty bottles, labels & packaging
  • Marketing & promotion for the new bottles
