Tuscaloosa Tree-cycling: Give Christmas Trees a Second Chance
You might be leaving your live Christmas tree up for several more days to enjoy the last bit of the holiday season. When done with your real tree, it is recommended that you don’t “toss” your tree but are encouraged to recycle it.
What to Do with Your Live Christmas Tree?
The City of Tuscaloosa will offer recycling of live trees, greenery, and tree lights between December 26 and January 6 at the Curry Environmental Services facility located at 3440 Reese Phifer Ave. in Tuscaloosa, Al.
Know Before You Go
The Curry Environmental Services facility will accept live trees and greenery but must be completely free of decorations and lights. If you need to recycle the tree lights, a separate bin will be available.
