Tuscaloosa Political Accusations Aimed At Walt Maddox

The Steve Shannon Morning Show on 953 The Bear became a hotbed for political
accusations by Walt Maddox mayoral challengers Pastor Martin Houston and Dr. Serena Fortenberry.

Houston and Fortenberry appeared together on 953 The Bear. They accused Mayor Maddox of violating debate rules at Thursday night’s CH 13 debate. They stated, per written rules, no phones were allowed in the candidates studios. Houston and Fortenberry said they heard in their earpiece a call for information made from the Maddox studio just prior to the debate.

Fortenberry accused Maddox of breaking election laws by recently allowing drop boxes at city hall for absentee voting.

Walt Maddox joined the Steve Shannon Morning Show after
Houston and Fortenberry left the radio studio. He called his opponents accusations a pathetic attempt to influence voters just days before the March 2nd election. He also disputed his opponents claims.
