Tuscaloosa Police to Release Body Cam Footage of UA Students Arrest

Tuscaloosa Police say that video from the controversial November 8th arrests of 3 UA students will be uploaded to the TPD YouTube account before 9 am on Wednesday.

The incident in question happened when police officers responded to a noise disturbance call at an apartment complex on Frank Thomas Avenue shortly after 2 am. One student was tased and one was beaten as seen on several smartphone videos. The students were arrest and after the videos went viral, an investigation was made into the matter and three officers were placed on administrative leave.
