Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox Calls Charlie Kirk Assassination Sickening
Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox told the 953 BEAR Steve & DC Morning Show that the Charlie Kirk assassination was sickening.
Maddox joined the chorus of public figures sounding off on the death of conservative Charlie Kirk at the hands of a maniac with a rifle.
Mayor Maddox strongly condemned any violence resulting from disagreeing with another person’s politics. Saying it did not matter your political persuasion, liberal or conservative, democrat or republican.
The mayor referenced an Abraham Lincoln quote saying we have to summon the best angels among us. Amen, mayor amen.
The 22-year-old alleged assassin was arrested today in Utah after being turned in by his own father.
