A man shot by three Tuscaloosa Police officers late Saturday night has been released from UAB and is now behind bars with a bond set at $75,000 according to the Tuscaloosa News.

Judvis Deshon Wallace, 39, has been charged with the attempted murder of the three officers and was shot multiple times by officers who said they were returning fire.

Wallace refused to surrender a handgun they saw tucked in his sweatpants.  The officers returned fire after Wallace began shooting at them from the end of a hallway, according to court documents filed today.
