Tuscaloosa Hosts Nucor Steel Sponsored Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Day

Tuscaloosa will host its annual Household Hazardous Disposal Day on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, from 8 am to 11 am at the Public Safety Logistics building, located at 3311 Reese Phifer Avenue.

 Items typically accepted at this event include chemicals, paints, batteries, and other potentially harmful substances. Participation is limited to residents of Tuscaloosa County, and identification will be required to ensure eligibility. This initiative aims to promote public safety and environmental responsibility by providing a proper disposal method for hazardous materials.
