Tuscaloosa Church Breaks Ground on New Saban Student Center
The Saban family has meant more to Tuscaloosa than just football wins and championship trophies, and that impact continues to grow.
Nick and Terry Saban were on hand at St. Francis University Parish for the groundbreaking of the new student center that will be named after the Alabama football coach and his family. The Saban Student Center will be a 4,600-square foot space for students to gather, study, and grow in the Catholic faith.
The Sabans are parishioners at the church and helped raise money for the new facility.
The center will cost an estimated $2 million and is expected to be ready for the start of the fall semester in August.
