Expect Delays On 20/59 West Bound

This has been the week of, well, really bad traffic issues, and again, they have reared their ugly head.

20/59 heading from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa has been a very delayed route all week, and it continues right now. Most of the problems begin just past the Mercedes-Benz plant in Vance.

Paving equipment is out fixing damage from yesterdays wreck, and won't be cleared anytime soon.

Drivers should take exit 100 for Highway 216 to Tuscaloosa.

We’ve spoken with Alabama law enforcement, and these issues may not be cleaned up and will be much easier to navigate by this weekend.
