Two time Oscar winner Tom Hanks accepted a People's Choice Award by quoting former Alabama QB Kenny Stabler.

Hanks said a Stabler quote had always stuck with him. "Go deep baby"!

Hanks said a friend sent him a letter saying "May you sleep in peace & wake in joy. If you do your heart well enough, if you love it enough, and if you throw deep baby- you'll sleep in peace & you'll wake in joy".
