The World According To Stan Pate- A City Hall Challenge

Tuscaloosa developer Stan Pate challenged Mayor Walt Maddox and the city council to offer more financial support for people & local small businesses struggling because of covid-19.

Pate suggested the city suspend Elevate Tuscaloosa if necessary for immediate help.

Pate told us more about the “opportunity zone” that is the old McFarland Mall location. He just had the Chili’s restaurant building demolished. Plans are being developed for a Sportsplex for families and young people, retail, a food truck zone, a parking garage, and more.
