The Alabama Driver License System is Out of Commission Again Today

For the second straight day, the state has shut down its system for issuing driver licenses.  The Alabama Law Enforcement Agencey says a problem caused by computer software update over the weekend led to the shutdown Tuesday following a two-hour shutdown Monday.   A statement says the problem involves a database and a vendor is working to fix the problem.  Both local license offices and oline services are temporarily out of commission.
