In the fourth inning, Alabama’s offense really exploded. Five singles, a double and a walk gave the Crimson Tide a six-run inning to secure its series win.

Elissa Brown hit a walk-off single in the fifth and Montana Fouts held the Rebels to just two hits.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are 2-0 on the season, after their 52-24 dismantling of the Texas A&M Aggies last Saturday. The Tide now turn their attention to the Ole Miss Rebels, a matchup that’s been highly anticipated since December when the Rebels hired former Alabama offensive coordinator (and notorious coaching personality) Lane Kiffin.

Are they the Rebels? The Black Bears? The Landsharks? We don't know what the Ole Miss team mascot is, but we do know one thing: they suck.

Head coaches Lane Kiffin and Mike Leach were among a group of 46 coaches and administrators from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and six other public Mississippi universities that took to their state capital, on Thursday, to lobby the removal of the rebel flag from the Mississippi state flag.

Former Alabama football offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin, who is now the head coach at Ole Miss, and his football team participated in protests this Saturday in order for their voices to be heard against racism.

For anyone who said Ole Miss couldn't beat Alabama for two years in a row--you were right: Ole Miss Football is self-imposing a one-year ban following serious NCAA infractions.
