The 2022 high school football season in West Alabama came to a close Friday night but the second season also known as the AHSAA playoffs starts next week. Here is a look at how things wound up this week:
A Bessemer man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly struck another man with his truck Friday, causing the amputation of the victim's leg.
A 70-yard run would cap off senior night for West Blocton sealing the deal with eight minutes left to go in the fourth quarter. Brookwood would score on the next drive though, preventing a shut-out and pushing the score 28-7.
The AHSAA has worked to create an environment that will mitigate the spread of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in an effort to ensure communities can enjoy the tradition of southern high school football safely.
WOW! THE MILK WENT BAD FAST. It would appear that Brookwood, Alabama has lots of trucks with big horns and every time i try to do a "LIVE" Brookwood broadcast this seems to happen.
It's important that I type at least 100 words so I will also tell you that Brookwood is my kinda place...
