
Strong Winds, Tornadoes, Heavy Rain, & Hail Expected in Alabama
Alabamians are bracing for yet another round of severe weather, marking the third consecutive weekend of storms.

We are closely watching a stalled weather system over the Mississippi, Tennessee, and Ohio Valleys, which is expected to track eastward on Sunday, bringing our area the threat of severe weather.
Residents should be prepared that this will be a slow-moving system.

The Storm Prediction Center has elevated the risk level for parts of Alabama, while most of the state remains under a slight risk.

Severe Weather Threats
The primary threat will be damaging straight-line winds, accompanied by the potential for tornadoes embedded within the storm line. There is also a chance of large hail.
In addition, there is a concern for flooding by late Sunday afternoon into the evening.
