Strange Alabama- The Wolf Woman of Mobile

In April of 1971, paranoia struck Mobile, Alabama when reports of a strange "Wolf Woman" came pouring in.

Citizens of Port City and Plateau claimed to encounter a creature that had the body of a wolf but the head of a beautiful woman. Although no one was ever harmed, inhabitants from these suburbs were supposedly chased home and stalked on many occasions. The Press-Register revealed that over 50 sightings were called in during this troublesome time.

After a couple of weeks, the mysterious beast allegedly disappeared and the strange reports came to a halt. But it's hard to forget the amount of attention this incident received. There was even a newspaper article featured in the Press-Register which is pictured below.
