
Sipsey Valley Student Arrested for Making Terrorist Threat
A Sipsey Valley High School student has been arrested for threats made toward the school. The student was transported to the Tuscaloosa County Juvenile Detention Center.
According to Stephanie Taylor with the Tuscaloosa News Sheriff Ron Abernathy said, "We have a zero-tolerance policy in cases like this. We aggressively pursue any reports we receive of threats to a school.”
The student made verbal threats and posted messages on social media. The student was charged with making a terrorist threat which is a felony.
