The threat level includes all modes of severe weather (tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds.)West Central Alabama is split between a Slight and Elevated Risk (See Map):
SLIGHT RISK: Northern Sumter, extreme North Greene, West Tuscaloosa and all of Fayette, Lamar, Pickens, and Walker Counties.
ELEVATED RISK: Southwestern Tuscaloosa County, all of Bibb, Hale, Marengo, Perry.The threat for West Alabama areas should be over around noon and James Spann says could redevelop Monday afternoon. The Wild Bill Show airs for 3-7pm and once again 95.3 The Bear will keep you weather aware.
- There is a MODERATE RISK of severe weather in Southern Alabama.
- NOTE: Computer models are coming into agreement that there could be yet another, and even stronger outbreak of severe weather, including a greater tornado risk on Wednesday.
