
Severe Storms Still Possible Across Alabama: Updated Sunday Outlook
As severe weather continues to move through Alabama, the Townsquare Media Weather Center will continue to monitor the activity.
The slow-moving system has brought portions of our coverage area a tornado watch, damaging wind gusts, hail, lightning, and concerns for flooding.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has updated its outlook for Sunday, April 6, regarding this severe weather threat's timing and risk levels.
Severe Weather Concerns
Residents should be aware that the band of heavy rain and storms continues to move slowly and steadily eastward. This raises concerns about flooding issues across West Alabama and other counties in Alabama.
In addition, the National Weather Service in Birmingham stated that tornadoes, damaging winds of up to 60 mph, and hail up to a quarter of an inch in diameter are still potential threats.

Greene: now through 10 a.m.
Hale: now through 10 a.m. with a small section until 2 p.m.
Lamar: now through 7 a.m.
Perry: now through 2 p.m.
