Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band first played the Tuscaloosa amphitheater on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, they are coming back to T-Town in June next year.

55 years after beginning his musical career in Liverpool, England and rocketing to fame as the drummer for the iconic Beatles, the 84-year-old Sir Richard Starkey returns as part of a tour to push his latest album expected to drop after the first of the year.

Ringo and band will begin their spring tour in Bridgeport, Connecticut on June 12 and will have seven show dates in cities like New York and Philadelphia before playing at the Mercedes-Benz Amp on June 24th.

The new album Look Up will be a country album and is expected to be released on January 10, 2025. It will be the rock legend's first foray into country music in 50 years. It is also his first full-length album release in six years.

Ringo and his All-Stars have reportedly been working on the album collection featuring11 original songs for the past year. The cuts were recorded earlier this year in Nashville and Los Angeles.

Ringo's website notes that he has had a lifelong love of country music which is apparent in “Act Naturally,” “What Goes On,” and “Don’t Pass Me By” which he wrote during his time in the Beatles.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale at the Mercedes-Benz Amp website this coming Friday at 10:00am CST.
