The Phoenix House Tuscaloosa aims to “provide individualized, supportive, and compassionate care to those suffering from an addiction, treating each client’s underlying core problems to help them heal spiritually, mentally, and physically.”

To help support their significant efforts, The Phoenix House Tuscaloosa is hosting a concert fundraiser featuring The Locust Fork Band, which was formed in Tuscaloosa in 1974. Their distinctive fusion of Southern Rock, Rhythm and Blues, and Western Swing has enthralled audiences.

The Locust Fork Band will perform live at The Venue in Tuscaloosa on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 7 p.m.  The Venue in Tuscaloosa is located at 6052 Watermelon Rd, Northport, AL 35473.

According to the press release from The Phoenix House Tuscaloosa, “For every $50 donation to Partners in Recovery, attendees will receive a complimentary concert ticket, with $40 of each donation directly benefiting Phoenix House.”

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
