The senior wide receiver had an interesting response when he was asked if he watched the Alabama-LSU game.

“Yeah I watched all of it, I was kind of hoping Alabama could win but it’s football so,” said Mingo.

Mingo also noted that he is very excited to play against the Crimson Tide after missing last season’s game in Tuscaloosa due to injury.

“It’s a very exciting feeling,” said Mingo. “I try to look at every game as exciting because every game is important to me, but  it’s a good feeling to be able to play Alabama again, it’s something I’m looking forward to.”

Mingo currently leads the Ole Miss receiving core with 664 receiving yards on 30 receptions.

These two squads are set to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CST on Saturday. Game day coverage will be available all day on Tide 100.9 and 95.3 The Bear.
