While Saban was successful in restoring Alabama to its rightful place atop college football, apparently there were some fans that weren't quite convinced the West Virginia-native was up to the task.
The latest blow to the Tigers' season comes in the form of another athlete opting out of the 2020 season. Junior receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. has left the LSU program and will not play the remainder of this season.
The new rumored schedule for the Crimson Tide would still see them hosting Auburn on Nov. 28, however instead of playing Arkansas the following week Alabama would make the trip to LSU on Dec. 5. The Crimson Tide would then go to Arkansas on Dec. 12 for its 10th and final regular season game.
The SEC football weekend is dwindling by the hour with numerous teams in the conference having a COVID-19 outbreak. Four SEC games have been postponed due to one team the other experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak. Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Georgia and Missouri are all having to rework their schedules due to the virus.
Ed Orgeron and the LSU Tigers should not be allowed to reschedule this football game. LSU should be forced to forfeit the game due to carelessness costing the SEC and others the chance to watch this weekend's game.
