Northport Mayor Dale Phillips has announced a possible meeting at the end of this week for the improvement district/cooperative district regarding the University Beach Project.

Mayor Phillips says the exact date, time, and location have not been provided yet. The mayor also said he has no idea what will be discussed.

The mayor said that is all the information he has for now.

Phillips requested that Northport citizens stay positive as the city moves forward. The mayor said this is not an endorsement of the project. Phillips said he has concerns.
