Video: Alabama Mayor And Councilor Go Viral After Heated Argument

Alabama, is it possible that we can do a little better than this?
We already have a stigma that we fight because we’re in the deep south, and the perception is that we aren’t the brightest bulbs.
I don’t know what the problem has been lately in this state, but we’ve had a pretty chaotic and crazy scene in Northport politics over the last couple of years.
Combined with shenanigans on social media that have been shameful at times.
They’ve been shameful many times, if the truth be told.
We also can’t forget the councilman in his late 70s who recently won reelection in Alabama and is perhaps best known for once punching the mayor in the face.
I’m really only scratching the surface of the situation that exists in Alabama's small-town politics.
It gets crazy fast.
By the way, I believe that the councilman was acquitted of assault charges in the punching incident.
The town of Tarrant, Alabama (just outside of Birmingham) is known for its political battles with itself.
Recently, another video from the city went viral after a council meeting turned ugly, with the mayor caught in the middle of another squabble over something unknown.
I don’t think I even caught what the issue was, because the back-and-forth between the mayor and the council member so entertained me.
