Northport Police Department Warns Residents to Secure Their Firearms
With the recent wave of gun crimes in Tuscaloosa, it's more important than ever to ensure you are keeping your firearms safe. The Northport Police Department posted a reminder on Facebook yesterday urging residents to lock their vehicles to prevent gun theft.
Northport Police received reports of guns stolen from an unlocked vehicle this week, and reminded residents that "the stolen guns ARE being used in other crimes against the public and police."
Remember to lock your vehicle and store your guns securely inside your home.
