Northport Mayor In Morning Traffic Accident

Northport Mayor Dale Phillips was involved in a minor car accident this morning. The mayor was not injured.

Mayor Phillips later joined the 953 Bear Steve & DC Morning Show. Phillips discussed a possible University Beach meeting later this week. The mayor believes there is a required 24-hour notice on these meetings. The meetings are open to the public.

Mayor Phillips will host his first Citizens’ Advisory Council meeting on January 29th at 6 pm in the Northport City Hall. The meeting is open to anybody interested in what’s best for Northport.

The mayor said to expect several “quality of life” related announcements mid-year.
