Alabama Football head coach Nick Saban gave an update on the injured players in his post-game press conference after the No. 2 Crimson Tide defeated No. 20 Arkansas 49-26.

The number one question is what is the condition of Heisman Winning quarterback Bryce Young? During the second quarter, Young exited the game with a shoulder injury and was evaluated in the medical tent and locker room. He was seen on the sideline in his uniform throughout the second half but did not return to the game.

Luckily for Crimson Tide fans, Saban said the shoulder injury is not severe.

"You know Bryce has an AC sprain in his shoulder," said Saban. "We will have to take it day-to-day and I think he is ok. He does not have a serious injury and he could have gone back into the game but I did not think he had much steam on the ball. He's had these before and a few days later he responds pretty well, so we will have to take it day-to-day".

Safety Brian Branch also went down against the Razorbacks. The junior from Fayetteville, Ga. is the captain of the defense and helps make signal calls.

"We want to get all our players healthy. Depth on your team is important. I mean Brian Branch goes down in the game, Malachi Moore gets cramps, and we did not have a third star. So Kool-Aid had to go play star and I had to tell Jordan Battle and Demarco Hellams to tell him what to do every play," said Saban.

Alabama will host Texas A&M on Saturday, October 7, 2022, at 7 p.m. CT. Coverage will be on Tide 100.9 and 95.3 The Bear.
