Mayor Walt Maddox was just reelected by a landslide. He's served as Tuscaloosa's Mayor for 20 years.

Maddox received endorsements from Nick and Terry Saban. The mayor said Miss Terry had called him telling him their plans to endorse.

The mayor paused before telling us what he would like a do-over on from the past 20 years. Hear his response in our shared audio below.

Maddox responded to his critics who say Tuscaloosa is building too many hotels and apartment complexes. He reminded everyone that the city does not build hotels and apartments.

Maddox was asked "what one business would you most like to recruit to Tuscaloosa". We expected him to say Buc'ees, but he did not. Maddox said he would like to successfully recruit a COSCO to locate in Tuscaloosa. There are locations
