Monk’s Afternoon Six Pack

FORECAST: According to James “Mother Nature’s Son” Spann Lows near 40 tonight and the warming trend continues tomorrow and Sunday with afternoon highs in the near 75 under mostly sunny skies.

ALABAMA: The two suspects who were caught on camera earlier this week stealing a cardboard stand-up of Nick Saban showed back up on camera last night when they brought it back. I’m guessing it’s because their pics were all over the internet! They walked in quietly, dropped off the cutout and made for the door without saying a word to the attendant. TPD are still looking for the young men’s identities.

NATIONAL: Most all members of the Indianapolis Colt’s football team have shaved their heads in solidarity with their head coach Chuck Pagano who is battling cancer and recently lost his hair and goatee. There is photo floating around of the Colts with their heads shaven but one thing stands out; saftey Sergio Brown with a full head of hair! He isn’t heartless so don’t jump to conclusions, he dyed his trademark locks orange, the color supporting leukemia research.

SPORTS: The Alabama men’s basketball team are opening their 100^th season of play tonight hosting South Dakota State in the Tuscaloosa Regional of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project. Tip off set for 8pm with airtime on 95.3 The Bear at 7p.

ENTERTAINMENT: After last night’s playoff eliminations on ‘The Voice’ there are officially no “country” artists in the competition. When made to choose between mariachi singer Julio Castillo, pop rocker Michaela Page, and country singer Liz Davis, Blake decided to keep Michaela in his remaining three.

MUSIC: Kenny Chesney announced his 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour. This time he’ll be carrying Eric Church, Eli Young Band, and newcomer Kacey Musgraves out with him and will have Zac Brown Band on a few select dates. See dates here.
