Missing Monkey, Wearing Yellow Pants, Spotted In Alabama Town

A 4-year-old white-faced capuchin monkey is on the loose in Jefferson County, Alabama.
White-faced capuchins are small primates, with adults typically weighing between 3 and 4 kilograms (6.6 and 8.8 pounds). They have long, agile fingers and toes, which they use to grasp and manipulate objects, and a prehensile tail that helps them to balance as they move through the trees.
White-faced capuchins are highly social animals and live in groups of up to 20 individuals. They communicate with each other through a range of vocalizations, facial expressions, and body language. They also have a complex social hierarchy, with dominant individuals having greater access to food and mating opportunities.
These monkeys are omnivorous and feed on a wide range of foods including fruits, insects, small animals, and plant material. They are also known to use tools, such as stones, to crack open nuts and shells.
Foster reported Cookie sightings in Pinson, Alabama. Cookie has been on the loose over 24 hours.
If you spot a small monkey, wearing yellow pants and dragging a leash, please contact the police department.
