Meet Peanut, Our Pet Of The Week

Each week 95.3 The Bear teams up with the Alabama Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ALSPCA) to try and find homes for dogs & cats in our area.

This week we have Peanut, a Chihuahua and Poodle mix who likes to chill. Peanut was a stray at the local animal shelter. Sadly no one came back to claim the little guy. He's been vaccinated (two sets of puppy shots) and has been neutered. Peanut will also be micro-chipped prior to adoption.

Peanut's foster mom describes him as a laid back guy who really just likes to be held more than anything. He's been socialized with other dogs, puppies, and even cats.

All adoptions include FREE micro chipping as well as a 30 day FREE trial of pet insurance. The adoption fee is $125 which includes spay/neuter, vaccines (up to date), heart-worm testing, and other routine vet care.
