Ask anybody who has fished in Lake Eufaula. They are often seen in rivers, lakes, and streams. . Now, those gators have discovered North Alabama. They seem to like the Huntsville/Tennessee Valley area.

Leave them alone.
Do not play with them.
Do not interact with them.
Do not feed them.
Do not get too close.
Keep your small doggies and kitties away from them.

Alligators are most active in warm summer months.
Gators are aggressive during their spring mating season.

Do not be surprised the next time you see an alligator in Alabama. This includes Lake Tuscaloosa and the Black Warrior River.
