Patriots starting QB Mac Jones certainly had an eventful rookie campaign. Jones threw for 3,801 yards, with 22 TDs and 13 INTs. His overall QB rating for the season was 92.5.

He also led the Patriots to the wild card round of the NFL playoffs, where they fell to the Buffalo Bills 47-17. The former Tide QB also made his first pro bowl appearance, in which his biggest highlight was running and dancing in the endzone, even though on the play he was whistled down.

The New England Patriots social team caught up with Mac, to talk about his first season in the NFL:

Speaking of his experience in Las Vegas, Mac said "It was really fun to be there with my teammates too that we had there for the Patriots was awesome."

Jones also attended the NFL Honors Ceremony, where he was somewhat starstruck:

"When I was watching the honors ceremony I was thinking about how cool it was to be up there watching people get inducted into the hall of fame."

Mac also mentioned how he knew about Tony Boselli from when he lived in Jacksonville, and how Leroy Butler's high school coach was his high school coach.

Speaking about the offseason, Jones simply said he wanted to back closer to home in New England, but also "just figuring out ways to become a better quarterback, and then do whatever we can to put more points up on the board so we can win more games."

Mac compared his first season in New England to his freshman year at Alabama, where he was still in the process of "figuring everything out."

Jones was also thankful for the offseason, where he said could take a breather, but also evaluate and improve in the game of football.
